Significant Bank Database

The Significant Bank Database contains balance sheet, income statement and regulatory data for 112 banks that are designated as significant institutions by the ECB. Together, these banks cover about 80 percent of total assets of the euro area banking sector. The dataset begins from the year 2009, and it currently covers the years up to 2021. Thus, this dataset gives you a privileged view on the euro area banking sector.
